Another band trying to revolutionize the way rock music feels even more. We’re bringing you the best and only the best for the past ten years and the next twenty years. We’re bringing the explosive energy to you. We will not stop until our fans are satisfied.
Stage Fright originally started as a soft rock band, never expecting to go heavy as it is today. In 2013, Kirk told Edward that he wants to start a band. Edward had to think about it. A band? That’s… expensive, for one. Kirk said he’d pay for most of it, in which Edward finally agreed. Edward called up two old friends. His first was William Cliffs, a buddy of his that lived in the southern parts of California. Kirk paid for travel fees and all the expensive stuff. William really didn’t think he’d fit in. Next, Edward called Graves Dohl, a younger mechanic in their hometown. Not only did Graves fix and mod Edward’s old truck, but also played music with him when they were a little bit younger.
In the beginning, they tried out some stuff, and hated their soft rock. So, they switched to their heavy rock and metal works. With that, in early 2015, they released their debut album, “Stage Fright”. It blew up, all over social media. Tickets for concerts sold out like as if Elvis came back and was collaborating with Michael Jackson. With more and more albums releasing, they became even more popular and by far one of the most successful bands of all time.
Platinum Iron Fist Award
Best Concert Competition: Metal Segment
Stage Fright earned this reward by playing their debut album Stage Fright front to back. With an astonishing 31,955 votes, Stage Fright took home first place, the Platinum Iron Fist award, and $5000 towards small artists and bands.
“Honestly, it’s kind of shocking. I went into this to have fun and show the world what we’ve been working on. I went looking for iron and came back with gold. I hope the money goes to the ones that deserve it, the hard working ones.”
– Kirk Nobain
Best Hard Rock Performance Award
New Music Association
Stage Fright earned the Best Hard Rock Performance Award for their concert in earlier 2016. They played their second album Ravaged Earth in Detroit and it was debatably one of the best ever that year.
“I say it was definitely great for us. Everyone was just having fun. That’s the kind of thing we love to see, people having fun together. I’d personally love to do this show again, and I’d continue forever.”
– Graves Dohl
The kind of music that you can just put on and drift away into your own world in. If you ever wanted to find an escape from harsh, brutal reality, we're your solution.
Unlike most rock bands, we have a real sense of humor. Whether it's something corny like a terrible dad joke, or something dark, we'll be sure to bring a smile to your face within the time we have together.
We don't just have words in our songs, we have passion. We're bringing everything you've ever asked for in a song. Almost all of our songs are written from real life experiences. Our words are brought up from emotion, and we're gonna sing like it.
We're the people that will make your first concert, last concert, or any concert the best you'll ever have. Whether it's finally hearing your favorite song live, being brought together with your friends, or dropping that chili dog that you paid $8 for into the mud, we'll make sure you wont forget it.
We are the ones putting the gasoline into our own burning fires of stage fright.
My name is Kirk Nobain. I was born in 1991 and always had a passion for music. I have been learning as early as ten. I grew up listening to a buncha early bands, like Birvaba, Ironica, Revenge Sixfold, and my favorite, Zeldain Park. I took up the passion of singing this style of music from my father, god rest his soul. I was the one to come up with the idea of starting the band, assisted by Eddy. My inspiration was because, y’know, I wanted to make music that would bring people together.
The name’s Edward Han Valen. I’m pretty much the oldest of the group, 1987 baby. I picked up the knack for guitar in my music class, which my teacher showed me how to play, taught me everything I ever needed.I don’t like bragging, but I’m pretty good, which makes me better for the band. I joined the band because I wanted to play for the world, and I want my name to be known in the music industry. Amongst many, that’s my biggest dream.
Yo, I’m William Cliffs. I am the bass player in the group, aka the coolest one. I got my inspiration from Michael Dirt, the COOLEST bass player of my favorite band, Blue Week. I thought that he looked awesome playing the bass on stage, and I’m like… “Uhh… heck yeah. Get me on that stage asap”. The reason I joined the band was mainly for the money since I kinda need it, but also because the music Stage Fright played is just so similar to Blue Week… I wonder if Kirk got some inspiration from them.
Hey, it’s Graves. Graves Dohl. I am obviously the one everyone fangirls about in the band (read it and weep, Kirk). I’m just a younger mechanic that tagged along with the band because I thought that it would be very very very very very very very very very very very very cool. Now, fueled off of five creature energy drinks and two “cinnamon-burst toaster tarts”, I become the danger. All jokes aside, I’m serious about this band thing.
